Homes for sale in Lake Forest can vary depending on multiple factors. The neighborhood started development in the early 1980s, and the growth has not slowed down since. Home prices in the subdivision vary depending on which home a buyer is interested in. Older homes in the neighborhood that were built around 25 years ago tend to make up the lower end of the range with new construction homes filling out the higher end. Homes prices in the neighborhood have a large spread, with the lower end being $275,000 and the upper reaching over $2 million. The inside of homes offer a wide variety of floor plans. Most styles that are on display in these houses are in line with what clients would expect to see in luxury homes.
Lake Forest Homes mostly display brick and stone venires to give homes the luxury look. Homes in the subdivision also benefit from beautifully manicured landscapes. Homes in Lake Forest offer what one would expect from luxury homes: granite countertops, upgraded fixtures, jaw-dropping primary bedroom and bathrooms, large kitchens, luxury hardwood floors and often finished basements.
The community of Lake Forest benefits from the association that is in place. The neighborhood is full of beautiful landscapes, jogging trails, clay tennis courts, parks, lakes and forests. The community offers many social and community events that are open to all residents and their guests. Events that are available to residents include a swimming/diving team, a large Easter egg hunt, a beautiful 4th of July display, Halloween parties, visits with Santa, New Years Eve gala, and bourbon/wine tasting events. The community of Lake Forest is incredible because they are always active and continue to listen to residents.
In addition to having a great community, residents are within a short drive from a lot of popular destinations in Louisville. Some of our favorite restaurants, like Taco City, are close by for anyone who likes to get margarita and some tacos. Another local food spot that the Premier Homes Team loves to go to is Crumbl Cookie. While this may not be for our residents on a diet, Crumbl Cookie has “world-famous milk chocolate chip cookies.” If food isn’t your thing, but shopping is, then you are in luck. The Oxmoor Center Shopping Mall and the St. Matthews Mall, are a short drive from the neighborhood. Finally, if you have children who love animals, which who doesn’t, the Louisville Zoo is just a short car ride away.
